Nolen. * Activities Of Local Church Organizations Circle 2, Presbyterian Women of the Church Mrs. Cherry Easley was hostess to Circle 2 of the Presbyterian Women of the Church on Monday evening. Miss Edna Robinson gave an infor mative program evaluating the "As semblies Causes.” The Bible lesson, based on tile 7th Commandment, was given by Mrs. Easley. Mrs. Glenn Newton, chairman, pre sided and announced that t^e Church Fellowship Supper would be held on November 14 and gay* the names of the members who attended the Bible Study In Rocky Mannt, given by Miss Lucy Steele of Peace Colelge. During the social hour the hostess served a dessert course. Circle 3, Presbyterian Woman of the Church - Circle 3 of the Presbyterian Women of the Church mgt on Monday night at the home of the hostess, Mrs. Emerson Smith. The monthly Bible Study was given by Mrs. G. R. Smith and the program was developed by Mrs. J. T. Nolen. Mrs. Nolen presented material from the book, “Beside the He&rthBtone” written by Rev. Robert Lapsley, Jr., a former pastor at hers. She also stated that the book is illustrated by a former classmate. The two-part program included discussion on the subjects of "Home and Play” and “Home and Money.” Under the first topic, Mrs. Nolen said that Rev.
